Yeni is a contemporary Turkish restaurant on Beak Street in Soho. It takes familiar Turkish flavours and cooks them with open-fire techniques and a creative, fine-dining touch, served as sharing plates or as a tasting menu.

It is one of the best places in London to see where modern Turkish cooking is heading, and it is a strong pick for a special occasion.

What to order at Yeni

The menu changes, but these are good places to start:

Atmosphere and good to know

Service is attentive and friendly without being formal. Yeni is closed on Mondays and, on weekdays, closes between lunch and dinner (lunch runs until about 2.45pm and dinner starts at 5pm), so check times before you go. Booking is recommended.

Yeni opening hours

Monday: Closed; Tuesday to Thursday: 12:00–22:00; Friday: 12:00–22:30; Saturday: 13:00–22:30; Sunday: 13:00–21:00. Hours can change on bank holidays, so check with the restaurant before you travel.

Yeni is at 55 Beak Street, London W1F 9SH. Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus stations are both about a five- to eight-minute walk.
