A lot happens in London’s Turkish restaurants after the plates are cleared. This page gathers the events they post themselves: live fasıl music (classical Turkish songs with a small band), meyhane nights of meze and rakı, supper clubs, cooking classes, iftar menus during Ramadan and football screenings.

Types of events you’ll find
- Live music and fasıl nights: bands with saz and bağlama (long-necked Turkish lutes), usually on Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Meyhane and rakı nights: a meyhane is a Turkish tavern, and the evening runs long, with cold meze first, hot meze after and rakı throughout. Our guide to popular Turkish dishes will help you read the menu.
- Supper clubs and tasting menus: set menus and one-off dinners cooked by the chef.
- Cooking classes: learn to make mantı (small meat dumplings), pide or baklava, then try our easy Turkish recipes at home.
- Turkish breakfast and brunch events: serpme kahvaltı, the spread-out breakfast of cheeses, olives, eggs and bread. See the best Turkish breakfast in London.
- Ramadan iftar and Eid: iftar set menus and late openings.
- Football screenings: Süper Lig and Turkey matches on the big screen, with food.

- Choose Event as the listing type.
- Add the event name, start and end date and time, your restaurant’s address, a description, photos and the ticket or set-menu price (if any).
