Turkish Desserts & Baklava in London
Baklava, künefe, kadayıf, sütlaç and lokum are the sweet end of a Turkish meal, and London has a few specialists. Hafız Mustafa 1864 and Mazlum London 1924, both in Knightsbridge, are London branches of historic Istanbul confectioners, Mehmet Efendi 1953 on Edgware Road makes baklava and serves Turkish breakfast late into the night, and Mersin Tantuni in Dalston is known for its crispy künefe.
