Yaprak Eastcote is a Turkish restaurant on Field End Road in Eastcote, a couple of minutes from the Tube station. It is one of the busiest Turkish dining rooms in this corner of north-west London, known for a long meze list, charcoal-grilled kebabs and a good spread of house specials.
The menu covers the classics in some depth. Cold meze run from cacık and hummus to babaganoush and tabule, hot starters include muska böreği and hummus topped with lamb, and the grill turns out Adana, şiş, lamb chops and ribs. House specials such as İskender, Ali Nazik and kuzu güveç sit alongside seafood, vegetarian dishes like imam bayıldı, and sharing platters for two to five people.
With plush seating, a bar for cocktails and wine, and a bottomless brunch offer, Yaprak suits a family meal, a night out with friends or a weekend celebration.
These dishes from Yaprak’s own menu are a good place to start:
Yaprak is a comfortable, warmly lit dining room with plush seating and a bar, and it handles everything from couples to large family tables. Sharing platters for two to five people make group orders easy, and there is a kids menu and a dedicated vegetarian section.
Alcohol is served, with separate drinks and wine menus, and the restaurant runs a bottomless brunch. Its website does not state whether the meat is halal, so ask if that matters to you. Tables can be booked online through SevenRooms, which is worth doing on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Monday to Saturday: 12:00–23:00; Sunday: 12:00–22:00. Hours can change on bank holidays, so check with the restaurant before you travel.
Eastcote station, on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, is about a two-minute walk away on Field End Road. Ruislip Manor and Rayners Lane stations are each around 15–20 minutes on foot. Local buses including the 282 and H13 stop on Field End Road near the station.
