Expect hot and cold meze, chicken Adana, lamb şiş, tender lamb ribs and mixed grill platters, along with İskender and Ali Nazik. There are lighter plates too, including coal-fired sea bass, lentil soup and a falafel Caesar salad, plus burgers from the grill.
The sleek setting and cocktail list make it a good pick for pre-theatre dinners, dates and work meals near the station. Coal-fired burgers, including a helim version, round out the menu.

The dining room is modern and stylish with a touch of Mediterranean warmth, and the open kitchen puts the charcoal grill on show. There’s a full bar with beer, wine and house cocktails, and a private room for parties; the dress code is smart casual.
Vegetarian choices include falafel dishes and a helim burger, and several dishes are gluten-free. It’s open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Tables can be booked through OpenTable, which is a good idea before shows at the Apollo Victoria.
SMOQUE opening hours
Monday to Thursday: 12:00–23:00; Friday to Saturday: 12:00–midnight; Sunday: 12:00–22:30. Hours can change on bank holidays, so check with the restaurant before you travel.
How to get to SMOQUE
Victoria station (Victoria, District and Circle lines, plus National Rail) is about a 4-minute walk, and Pimlico (Victoria line) is around 10 minutes away. Buses 2, 36 and 436 stop on Vauxhall Bridge Road nearby, and many more routes leave from Victoria bus station.
