Alanya Bow pairs a Turkish charcoal grill with a few South Asian-leaning touches, so you will find chicken shish next to masala chips.

The restaurant is listed as fully halal and does not serve alcohol; mocktails are a speciality instead. Portions are large and staff are used to packing up leftovers. Large groups should call ahead. Monday to Friday: 16:00–23:00; Saturday to Sunday: 13:00–23:00. Hours can change on bank holidays, so check with the restaurant before you travel.

How to get to Alanya

Bow Road (District and Hammersmith & City lines) and Bow Church DLR are each roughly a 12-minute walk south. Bus 8 runs along Roman Road and stops close by, and the 339 serves the surrounding streets. Mile End station (Central, District and Hammersmith & City lines) is around 15 minutes’ walk west via Burdett Road or a short ride on the 339.
